When first launched, Graine de bonheur was intended to remain deliberately simple. Elisa was still managing her appointments in a paper diary, preparing her gift vouchers on Canva, and sending the necessary forms for each service separately. As the activity grew, this organisation became a major source of mental load: diary pages crossed out after every slot change, replies lost in emails, travel costs difficult to estimate, and several hours dedicated to creating a single gift voucher. The project then evolved in stages to transform the site into a daily work tool, without taking away the control Elisa needed. The new booking page allows the client to choose whether they wish to book or offer a gift, select a service or a gift set, then specify the location when the service is available at both the Cocon and at home. The platform then composes the form suited to this context, applies the correct duration, and automatically calculates any travel costs based on a reference table.Card payments immediately validate the booking. For cash payments, the request remains to be confirmed by Elisa to prevent a bot or a suspicious entry from blocking a real slot. A pre-qualification layer analyses, in particular, the consistency of the email, phone number, and values sent by the form. The availability offered to clients takes Elisa's Google Calendar into account. A personal or professional event automatically blocks the corresponding slot. After validation or payment, the booking is added to the calendar and the client receives their confirmation. For home services, the platform also reserves thirty minutes before and after the appointment. This gives Elisa the necessary time to prepare her equipment, tidy up, and travel, without risking overlapping appointments. When a client moves their slot from their portal, Elisa is notified and can confirm the new proposal or get back in touch.Creating a gift voucher previously could take up almost a day. Canva models had to be regularly adjusted according to the message, recipient information, or new photos of the services. Now, online payment triggers the immediate generation of a voucher tailored to the chosen service, ready to be printed. The recipient accesses their area via the voucher's QR code. During its six-month validity period, they can modify their message, re-generate the document, choose a time slot, and fill in the necessary forms. Responses are directly linked to the booking: Elisa receives a notification and can open or print a summary before the appointment. The first version was delivered in late October 2025 after two weeks of development. Online payment was added in March 2026 during a one-week update. In June 2026, two additional weeks enabled the delivery of the current platform: booking composer, travel calculation, gift vouchers, promotional codes, client area, and technical redesign. This latest evolution accompanied the opening of the Cocon, Graine de bonheur's new premises in Montpellier. From her dashboard, Elisa updates her services and photos, manages seasonal offers and promo codes, views requests, and maintains control over her schedule. The site has become both her primary organisational tool and a showcase she shares with confidence. This bespoke development transforms a micro-business website into a professional web application, while preserving a simple user experience.
